At the Recovery Hub on the 9th September 2022, we hosted our first Service User Presentation Day where we celebrated the hard work and achievements of our service users and volunteers. We presented each nominated individual with a certificate to recognise their achievements and progress as well as a gift bag including a special gift from Lush Cosmetics who very kindly donated a large amount of their fabulous products to our service!
The event was a huge success! We had some inspiring guest speakers which included some of our own service users, past and present members of SUIT and our Service Manager Karl Phillips! We then went on to present each nominee with their certificate and gift and followed the ceremony with a BBQ in the garden!
This event was the first of (hopefully) many to come, with our next Service User Presentation Day to take place in December.
We’d like to give a special thank you to Lush Cosmetics for their generous donation of products, the staff who worked extremely hard over the last few months to plan and execute this event and an extra special thank you to our amazing SUIT volunteers whose hard work and passion exceeds expectations!
